Understanding the Soul Purpose System

The Soul Purpose System is a unique form of numerology that explores the coding contained within your name. While it shares some similarities with traditional Pythagorean Numerology —the most well-known form of Numerology— the Soul Purpose system uses a different approach to reveal the Challenges, Talents, Goals, and Soul Destiny that shape your life journey. 

It is not a predictive system but is one of self-discovery.  This system had been used in ancient times and was reintroduced by spiritual pioneer Frank Alper in the 1980’s.  A very small number of teachers have since interpreted his work. 

These readings are based entirely on names, not birth dates, and the foundation of every reading begins with your full assigned birth name.  From this, we create your Birth Name Soul Blueprint, which reveals the unique coding in your name.  Each code carries a specific meaning, and its position within the blueprint reveals a different aspect of your journey. It is the combination of these codes and their placement that creates your unique Soul Blueprint.

What first captivated me about this system during my reading was not learning about my gifts—it was actually understanding my challenges. For the first time, I saw that certain recurring patterns in my life weren’t random obstacles, annoyances, or personal shortcomings. They were opportunities for growth and transformation. It was incredibly empowering to discover that patterns I had always assumed were simply part of my personality and due to life experience—such as avoiding certain emotions or struggling with trust—were actually reflected in my Soul Blueprint.
